Keep your Manufacturer SKUs updated in Profit. If your Manufacturer SKU is 1:1 with the Vendor, the faster product can get on your website and the more likely it’ll be 100% accurate!

  • Remember, for Package Skus, the Manufacturer SKU can be kept in the Web Number field of the Web Info box for Packages. See the Q&A questions regarding Package Skus for more information.

Once your website is up and running and you feel good about the product that is displayed, keep up a process for checking SKUs.

  • Suggested Practice: Once a week, from the product page, filter products to see which products do not have a Retailer Item ID. This means the product has not found a match to your data yet! Research the product to figure out which SKU it is and follow the steps listed in the Q&A to map the product.
    • Note: If a product on the website does not have a Retailer Item ID associated with it on the R&A backend product dashboard, that means the Vendor SKU and your Manufacturer SKU as listed in Profit are not a 1:1 match. This means R&A had to use other context about the item like the Description and Vendor to build this product. Because of this, there is a chance this product is not 100% the same as what your product is. This is a good time to do that check and use the Support Hub if you find issues!
