You can increase your average order value by recommending related items (cross-sells) or premium versions of an item (upsells) right on the product page.
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Navigate to Products and click on the item you want to edit.

Scroll down to the Product Data box.

On the left side of this box, click the Linked Products tab.

You will see two search boxes: Upsells and Cross-sells.

Type the name of the product you want to recommend. When it appears in the dropdown, click it to add it.

Scroll to the top right of the screen and click Update.
