How to Set Up a “Free Shipping Over $X” Promotion

Offering free shipping over a certain dollar amount is one of the best ways to encourage customers to add more to their cart.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Navigate to Settings (or WooCommerce Settings) in your main menu and click the Shipping tab at the top.
Hover over your primary Shipping Zone (e.g., US or Domestic) and click Edit.
Click the Add shipping method button at the bottom of your method list.
Select Free Shipping from the drop-down and click Add.
Now, hover over the new “Free Shipping” method you just added and click Edit.
Change the “Free shipping requires…” drop-down to A minimum order amount.
Enter your minimum dollar amount (e.g., 50) and click Save changes.
