If you sell a mix of small decor items and large sectionals, you can’t charge the same shipping rate for everything. You can use Shipping Classes to assign higher delivery fees to heavy items.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Navigate to Settings in your main menu, then click the Shipping tab at the top.

2. Look for the Shipping Classes link just below the main tabs and click it.

3. Click Add shipping class at the bottom right. Name it something clear, like “White Glove Delivery,” and click Save shipping classes.

4. Now, go back to your Shipping Zones and edit your primary delivery zone.

5. Edit your “Flat Rate” shipping method. You will now see new boxes where you can type in a specific price just for the “White Glove Delivery” class. Enter your heavy delivery fee and save.

6. Final Step: Navigate to Products, edit your large furniture items, go to the Shipping tab on the left side of the Product Data box, and assign them your new “White Glove Delivery” class.
