The report is an Excel workbook with multiple tabs. Here is a quick overview of what each tab contains and how much attention it needs each week.

Tab What It Shows Weekly Action Required?
Dashboard High-level metrics and trend for both key scores Review — 5 minutes
Unpopulated SKUs ERP items missing a Manufacturer SKU Yes — update ERP items with their Mfg SKU

Unmatched SKUs Website products with no matching ERP item Yes — review these website listings to determine if any should be matching to an item in your ERP. If yes, update the Mfg SKU for the item in your ERP to match the website listing Mfg SKU, or manually populate your Retailer ERP SKU for the item in the website backroom to create the match.

New Discontinued Items newly discontinued and auto-removed from site No action needed, for your reference only
Population Summary Population % of ERP Mfg SKU broken down by vendor and category Information Only — useful for prioritizing

Recommended Weekly Workflow

For best results, follow this order when reviewing the report each week:

  1. Open the Dashboard tab and review your two scores and week-over-week trends.
  2. Go to Duplicate Mfg SKUs first — these cause the most direct harm and should be resolved before anything else.
  3. Work through Unpopulated SKUs and update Manufacturer SKUs in your ERP system for items you want on the website. If you had a low Population %, wait until next week’s report before spending time working on Step 4 Unmatched SKUs (see Pro Tip below).
  4. If your Population % is high, review the Unmatched SKUs tab. You may have Manufacturer SKUs populated in your ERP, but they may not match the Manufacturer SKUs from the website manufacturer catalog.
  5. Glance at New Clearance and New Discontinued to confirm the automated changes look correct.

💡 Pro Tip: Fixing Unpopulated SKUs in your ERP will often automatically resolve many Unmatched SKUs as well. Always tackle the ERP side first before spending time manually reviewing the Unmatched tab.
