How to Update Your Delivery and Shipping Pricing

Whether freight costs have gone up or you are changing your local delivery fees, you can easily adjust how much customers are charged for shipping at checkout.

If you ship to different areas (for example, a cheaper rate for local zip codes and a higher rate for out-of-state), make sure you edit the correct “Zone.”

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Sign in to your website dashboard.

  2. Navigate to E-Commerce in your main left-hand menu and click on Settings.

  3. Click the Shipping tab near the top of the screen.

  4. You will see a list of your Shipping Zones (e.g., Local Delivery, Domestic, or specific states). Hover your mouse over the zone you want to adjust and click Edit.

  5. Scroll down to the Shipping methods box. Hover over the specific method you want to change (such as Flat Rate or White Glove Delivery) and click Edit.

  6. A small window will pop up. Locate the Cost box and type in your new delivery price.

  7. Click the Save changes button inside the pop-up window.

  8. Finally, scroll to the bottom of the main screen and click the blue Save changes button to push your new pricing live.

Pro-Tip: If you have special rates for heavy furniture, make sure you check your “Shipping Classes” as well! You can usually find the costs for those specific classes located directly beneath the main “Cost” box in step 6.
