How Do I Handle Duplicate Manufacturer SKUs? (Product Variations — Myriad)

Your weekly Health Report includes a DuplicateMfgSKUs tab. In Myriad, most duplicate Manufacturer SKUs represent product configuration variants — for example, a recliner available in multiple fabrics or sizes — that share the same model-level SKU.

There are two main ways to resolve these:

Option 1 — Link Each Variant Individually: Use your inventory feed files to find the correct Retailer Item ID (WebCustomSku column) for each variant. Then enter the appropriate Retailer Item ID in the website backroom for the corresponding website listing. This ensures each configuration displays the correct pricing and inventory for that specific variant.

Option 2 — Variable Products: For products with multiple configurations (color, size, fabric), your website supports variable products — a single product listing with a drop-down menu for each configuration. Each variant in the drop-down can be linked to a specific Retailer Item ID so that the website shows accurate pricing and inventory for each choice.

[PLACEHOLDER FOR R&A: Insert instructions here for how to create a variable product in the website backroom and how to link each variant drop-down option to its corresponding Retailer Item ID.]

Tip: Use the inventory feed files provided by R&A to look up the correct Retailer Item ID (WebCustomSku column) for each variant before setting up the variable product.
