Web Rank is an automatic ordering system that controls the order in which products appear on your website. Lower Web Rank numbers appear higher on the page — similar to race rankings where first place finishes ahead of second.
Products are ranked automatically in the following priority order:
- 1st — Best-selling items currently in stock or on display
- 2nd — Items both in stock and marked for display
- 3rd — In-stock items not on display
- 4th — On-display items that are out of stock
- 5th — Former bestsellers that are now out of stock
- 6th — Items with no stock and no display designation
Manual Overrides: You can assign a specific rank to any product by entering a number directly in the product editor or via a CSV upload. Use ranks between 1 and 99 to pin items at the very top, or 1,000–10,000 to position products just after bestsellers. Manually assigned ranks are not changed by the automated system.
Sales-Based Bestseller Ranking — Myriad Note: Showing bestsellers at the top of the ranking (the 1st priority tier above) requires access to sales history data. This data is available through an additional Myriad API endpoint that must be enabled separately. If sales-based ranking is important to you, contact R&A to explore what is involved in enabling it for your account.
